Backyard is mainly specialized in "Big Data Management and Applications Platform". We gather and analyze big data such as text / voices / customer engagement activities" from External Data (social media, internet, open data, etc.) and Internal Data (email, customer chat log and etc.) through Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies.

*****Front-end Engineer*****

- Basic javascript understanding (“this” keyword, anonymous function, JSON)

- Basic HTTP protocol knowledge (HTTP verbs, response status)

- Knowledge in any component-based javascript frameworks (React, Vue.js)

- Knowledge in any CSS frameworks (Bootstrap)

- Knowledge in any front-end build tools (Grunt, Gulp, Webpack)

- Knowledge in back-end technologies is a plus

- Distributed source control software (git, Mercurial)

*****Back-end Engineer*****

- Basic back-end languages understanding (depends on your favorite languages)

- Basic HTTP protocol knowledge (HTTP verbs, response status)

- Knowledge in any MVC style web frameworks (Django, Rails, Laravel)

- Knowledge in deployment technologies (Ansible, Docker)

- Knowledge in front-end technologies is a plus

- Distributed source control software (git, Mercurial)

*****Data Acquisition Engineer*****

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

- At least 1 year experience in Python programming

- Basic Linux usage and command (any distros - Fedora, Ubuntu)

- Basic shell script knowledge

- Source control software esp. git
