Softpoint has founded an independent software production company in Thailand at April 2006.
Softpoint is an IT-Company located in Austria (Europe). Beside the classic hardware and
infrastructure business, software development is the most growing department in our company.
We are specialists in “Customer Relation Management”-Software (CRM) and “IT-Service-Management”-Software (ITSM).
Based on well known platforms like Microsoft .NET and
Microsoft CRM (http://www.microsoft.com/dynamics/crm/default.mspx) and IET-Solutions developing
platform (http://www.iet-solutions.de/en/) we develop customer specific solutions.
The market in this software area has a high growing potential in Europe,
therefore we are intending to expand our team with flexible and dynamic engineers for
producing software for the European market.
We are searching a senior software developer with the following skills:
- full experience in Microsoft SQL (including T-SQL) and/or Oracle (including P-SQL) is mandatory
- full experience in in .NET C#, XML, Webservices is mandatory
- Experience in ASP/JSP
- Knowledge in Javascript or other similar script languages
- 3+ years of software development experience in industrial surrounding and/or at university
Please note that certifications of the desired experiences are preferred.
Desired Soft-skills:
- English language fluent in spoken and written (we will communicate in English.
Knowledge in German language (Austria speaks German) would be fine but is not essential)
Attention: A Certificate of the English skills of at least TOFEL 500 (IELTS 6) is a
mandatory requirement (except English is your second native language). - candidates with Master degree in Software Technology are preferred
- highly flexible (if it is necessary the senior software engineer is invited
to come to Austria at least 4-6 weeks a year at companies costs. Especially
for trainings, roll-outs and specifications of several work-loads where a
face-to-face communication is required. In the other time we communicate
over broadband internet daily) - interested in new technology
- Ability to act on his own initiative
- Punctuality and reliability is a very important attribute
- to be a good role model for the other employees
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and design commercial software implementations based
on the requirement specification - Software development based on Microsoft .NET platform using C# e.g.
and IET-software development platform using its own definition language and JAVA for specific extensions. - Understand and define database models and program at database level
- Implementation of software fixes and/or enhancements of existing systems
- Testing of implemented applications for its correctness
- Define and deliver technical training sessions for new employees
- Provide expertise for problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging
- Write detailed technical specifications for programmers
