YouTube ประกาศเพิ่มฟีเจอร์ Playables ที่สามารถเล่นเกมผ่านแพลตฟอร์มได้โดยตรง หลังจากทดสอบกับผู้ใช้งานจำกัดกลุ่มก่อนหน้านี้ โดยตอนนี้เปิดให้ใช้งานสำหรับทุกคนแล้ว

ส่วนเกม Playables สามารถเข้าได้จากหน้าแรกของ YouTube ทั้งบนเว็บและแอป จากนั้นไปที่เมนู Explore มีตัวเลือกตอนนี้มากกว่า 75 เกม เช่น Angry Birds Showdown, Words of Wonders, Cut the Rope, Tomb of the Mask เป็นต้น สามารถเซฟเกมและแชร์ข้อมูลคะแนนกับเพื่อนได้

Playables เปิดให้ใช้งานเบื้องต้นในอเมริกา อังกฤษ แคนาดา ออสเตรเลีย และทยอยขยายกลุ่มผู้ใช้งานเพิ่มเติม โดยใช้เวลาหลายเดือนจากนี้
