SENIOR GAME DESIGNER/GAME DESIGNER (MMORPG)

A chance to be part of a new MMO development team in the center of the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand.

Wanted: Passionate and enthusiastic game designers to join our growing team, creating an exciting new mobile MMO based on a huge, well known fantasy IP.

JOB OUTLINE:
• Candidates will use their knowledge, skills, and passion to create and shape game content and systems for a brand new fully 3D fantasy mobile MMO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Write and adapt storylines, dialogue and text to suit various international game markets
• Work as part of a team to design and implement game content (zones, quests, items, encounters and systems)
• Evaluate, tweak and balance gameplay on a day-to-day basis
• Liaise with software development and art teams to prototype, implement and refine new game features
• Maintain an open style of communication to foster the flow of creativity and innovation
• Create and maintain agile game design documentation
• Carry out any other duties consistent with the post as may be required

REQUIREMENTS:
• Huge passion for fantasy MMO games
• A minimum of 2 years game industry experience including 1+ years online game development experience working on a shipped title.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Broad knowledge and understanding of the MMO genre
• Demonstrable knowledge of MMO design mechanics
• Understanding of mobile games and the mobile game industry
• Solid understanding of game design principles such as user flow, core game loops and user experience
• Ability to communicate complex and creative ideas
• Focused approach and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to plan workload appropriately
• Strong work ethic, capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• Based in or willing to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand
