An exciting new EdTech Startup in Bangkok is seeking an energetic and creative Laravel/PHP developer for a full-time role as our lead web developer. Please be proficient in both Laravel and PHP, as well as MySQL, Linux (Ubuntu). Additional skills in Linux system administration, MySQL database administration, Linux server setup/maintainence, version control (git), video stream optimization, content management systems(CMS), SSL/TLS, payment gateway integration (Paypal/Visa) and web analytics would all be a major plus.

We require a minimum of 5+ years

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering,
- -5 years+ experience in developing web based applications in PHP
- Proven experience with at least three PHP framework and/or CMS like Laravel, Wordpress, Symfony, Zend, Drupal, Magento
- 5+ years working with relational database such as MySQL
- Strong experience with front-end languages Javascript/CSS/HTML
- Experienced and knowledgeable in database design and management
- Experienced managing hosting environments, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
- Experienced using open-source CMS frameworks such as Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Experienced leading and managing team of engineers
- Ability to trace and resolve bugs by using appropriated tools on browser- and server-side
- Should be able to communicate fluently in English
- Understanding of the learning and education with strong passion to be a crucial part to develop the best quality of education
- Has a startup mindset and an "Everything-is-possible- attitude"
- Enjoy working on challenging solutions and systems
- Willing to work with flexible hours/days, work under pressure, yet play harder, with your team

Nice to Have:
- Experience with Moodle is a huge plus
- Experience building education websites and applications
- UI/UX Experience

You will be working on an interesting, with high engagement in, startup project in a young and dynamic team out of a cool office located in the state tower, about a 6 minute walk to BTS Saphan Taksin.
