The World Video Game Hall of Fame หอเกียรติยศสำหรับวิดีโอเกมซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของพิพิธภัณฑ์ The Strong Museum of Play ที่ตั้งอยู่ในเมืองนิวยอร์ก ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ได้ประกาศรายชื่อเกมที่จะได้เข้าสู่หอเกียรติยศประจำปี 2017 ออกมาเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว ซึ่งมีทั้งสิ้น 4 เกม ประกอบด้วย

• Donkey Kong
• Halo: Combat Evolverd
• Pokémon Red and Green
• Street Fighter 2

เกมอื่นที่เข้ารอบสุดท้ายในปีนี้ประกอบด้วย Final Fantasy 7, Microsoft Windows Solitaire, Mortal Kombat, Myst, Portal, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider และ Wii Sports

ปีนี้เป็นปีที่ 3 สำหรับการประกาศ The World Video Game Hall of Fame โดยเกมที่เคยได้รับรางวัลนี้ในปี 2015 คือ Pong, Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros., Tetris, Doom และ World of Warcraft

ส่วนปี 2016 คือ Grand Theft Auto 3, The Legend of Zelda, The Oregon Trail, The Sims, Sonic the Hedgehog และ Space Invaders
